Riverhead Auckland, New Zealand - Triangular Shaped UFO

Driving back from being out fishing with a mate we were on Riverhead Road when I seen up ahead were these lights like under a helicopter above these trees. I said to my mate that there was a helicopter ahead, so we were looking out for it. When we came around this corner, to our amazement it wasn't a helicopter or a plane because it didn't make any sounds and was moving sideways. So then we went to pull over to have a better look, when we did it moved away so fast, like above us one second, next, half a km. When that happened we just looked at each other in shock of what we might have just seen.

Prince George To Quesnel, British Columbia - Blue Colored Object

I just recently moved to Quesnel. I work at Wal-Mart, I had mentioned to a coworker that when I was riding down Plywood Road Hill around 12 am (a very dark road at night) that I had this strange fear of running into a UFO for some reason. I never saw one that night, but I won't ride down there again at night. But anyways my coworker had said that someone else saw some lights on this very road. I'm not too sure of the total story, but I'm going to inquire abit more about it tomorrow. But anyways I did a Google search of UFOs in Quesnel and came across a couple of your links. I read that one about July 23 2008, which started my memory running. I moved down here around the beginning of August 2008, and I remember when me my Dad and my Step mom were coming down the highway, heading south from Prince George to Quesnel, it was about just over half way I think. It was around nine pm and the sun was going down and I remember my Step mom saying, hey look at that light in the sky.
It's not moving. I looked, it was blue like a star sort of, but it was kind of stationary. It seemed to be staying in the same place even though we were moving around corners and going up hills. At first I said it's just a bright star. But when I looked for it a couple minutes later it was gone. I thought it was kind of odd, I just dismissed it out of my mind until reading that recent sighting. Looking back now I wish I would have looked at it longer. It could have been a star but I'm not too sure now.

Seen Over Zetland Park, Grangemouth UK - 15 Orange Lights

We spotted a group of 7 orange, large oval balls of light appear over the trees from our verandah. Must have took off 2 miles away and at about a 45/50 degree gradient.they flew in formation and headed up the river forth towards Edinburgh but more and more groups of these shot into and through the sky in groups of 3 at a time + in the same manner from the same place and all headed in that direction.we filmed them over half an hour - needless to say, it contains alot of swearing.

La Mesa, San Diego County, California - Bright Point Of Light

Very bright point of light, white, no other lights at all, was shimmering with spoke light radiating from it, was not blinking in any way, appeared to sway in the sky from side to side but this could of been a optical illusion, was moving about as fast as a airliner would at full cruise, appeared to be at least that high as well, say 30,000 ft , but could of been much higher, moved from the northern horizon out of the big dipper when I first saw it, moving in a southeasterly direction, tracked it till it got to within maybe 15 degrees of Jupiter to the east , about 8 o'clock, at this point the object suddenly lost all of it's illumination within a few seconds, fading to red, then gone, completely gone. This is interesting because I am very close to the AAA building where that woman saw a entity of some sort at around 2:00 PM earlier in the day, this could of possibly have been a very large satellite but again , from my perspective, it appeared to be much lower. I am not a "trained observer"

Richfield, Ohio - A Glowing Reddish Object

It was a glowing reddish object about the size of a golf ball at arms distance. It stayed stationary for about ten minutes and then it took off to the right at an incredible speed, If I would have blinked i would have missed it. I'm a see it to believe it kind of guy, and I believe it now.

Ripon, North Yorkshire UK - Approximately 15 Golden Lights

My husband phoned to tell me to look out the front door and there were three golden lights traveling very, very slowly then disappeared, they seemed to fade away but could have been traveling very quickly away from me. As these lights were disappearing another set of three or four arched over the houses in front of ours until there was about 7 of them, they moved slowly without sound and intertwined with each other, sometimes forming a diamond, three lights formed a straight line then the middle one vanished, a few more slowly came over the houses again in a single file where they continued to move slowly around until vanishing, then they all gradually faded away in approx. the same place until they had all gone and no more came over although I am still watching.

My husband saw a light from a westerly direction we watched it travelling eastwards at a steady speed until it went out of sight. Then another appeared it seemed to follow the first one, it's difficult to say how big or how far away they were. My daughter joined us while we were watching the second one. She called the police. While she was talking and at the same interval a third and then fourth appeared and subsequently disappeared out of sight. The fifth seemed further away as it seemed smaller it seemed to be going more North but then carried on course to follow the others.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Object Spilts Into Four
Date: August 9, 2008
Time: 10:00 p.m.
Aware of the meteor shower, I was outside in my friends front yard facing east and noticed what appeared to be a very large meteorite. It was inclining at a very slow speed. After about 30 seconds of it's presence, I ran into the house and got everyone outside to view what I was seeing. Moments later it started declining, and resembled a plane on fire going down. It split into 4 pieces which appeared the same size, and the fire disappeared. You could see dim red lights which led us to believe that an airplane had exploded. A few seconds later, the remaining pieces flared back up and started weaving in and out of each other in a horizontal fashion. They slowly dropped towards the skyline, but the whole sighting lasted about 3.5 - 4 minutes. We all came to the conclusion that it was not an airplane, and from my experience in astronomy, definitely not a meteorite.

Ottawa, Ontario - A Stationary Triangular UFO
Date: August 30, 2008
Time: Between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.
I was riding my bicycle on the Ottawa River Pathway heading west towards Britannia Beach. It was sunny. Looking up I noticed a stationary triangular form in the sky at about a 45 degree angle from the ground. It was shiny from the sun reflection and looked metallic. I looked away for a few seconds to see where I was going then up again but the form was gone. There was no vapour trail.

Bush Hill Park/Enfield Town UK - A Spherical Gaseous Object (Picture)
Date: August 31, 2008
Time: 1:10 a.m.
Object travelling South and looked to be descending as it was getting larger. It stopped moving briefly and remained almost still - I estimated its position at this point to be above Enfield Town Park. I dashed inside to get my camera and the object began to retreating back in the direction it came from by the time I got back outside a few seconds later. The object ascended and then just vanished either into low cloud or simply disappeared. I managed to take 3 photographs as the object moved away however these are very poor quality as I forgot to engage VR on my 300mm zoom lens and by this time the object was some distance away. I can supply these if required.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:
I did have a look at the ufo balloons link yesterday as suggested on your site - I've also seen video footage of a Chinese lantern filmed by a helicopter crew and I don't think either of these would have moved like this object. I must admit, what I saw had the colouring of a naked flame inside a balloon structure but that's the only resemblance. This certainly did not have the characteristics of a light-weight object carried by the wind and I also think it was way too bright for a small burner or candle. This object moved across the sky in a downwards trajectory travelling gracefully yet at a constant speed. As it descended, the light grew bigger whereupon it suddenly stopped mid-air and remained stationary long enough for me to rush inside, find my camera and get back outside again. The light then "reversed" in the exact direction it came from and ascended towards the cloud base and then either vanished completely or became obscured by cloud. As it moved away I managed to get three shots however, these are very distant and two of them are completely out of focus as I forgot to switch the lens Vibration Reduction on which prevents camera shake on long range pictures. The picture I've attached is the best image of the three and I've had to zoom in massively to get any detail, however it is a pretty good representation of how the object appeared when it was closest to me.
I've ruled out any type of aircraft as this was completely silent (besides which, I've been doing air show photography for over 20 years now and having photographed just about every type of aircraft, I can categorically say that I've never seen anything move or look like this). The person with me that evening also witnessed this but she wishes to remain anonymous (hardly surprising given the reaction of the few people I've told so far).

Garrettsville, Ohio - A Bright Orange Slow Moving Mass

I was in Garrettsville, OH this weekend at Nelson Ledges Quarry and park. We just got done watching Peter Rowan and Tony Rice play. It had to have been about 8:00 or 8:30 pm. I looked over see what this couple was looking at and sure enough it was this bright orange, and very slow moving mass in the sky. I will say it did look like it had a tail at first, which slowly disappeared, but the larger mass did not do the same. Everyone watched in wonder, and I am still wondering what this was. I saw something very similar at the end of August as well. Both times these masses would have been moving north to south.

Between 9.30 and 10pm, I was facing sea side and there was something going on above the sea and far from the coast as I can say. First one shimmering and not so bright light showed up, looked to me very close to the sea level and was ascending slowly with horizontal movements to the left and right while ascending. It took around minute to disappear up in the sky. Right after that one, another two showed up ascending and had similar movements as first one. Took minute for them to disappear. And finally 4th showed up and went same path as first three. Was spectacular seeing. I saw it and later on found out that another friend of mine mom had same experience.

Maury Near Perpignan, France - Triangular UFO Travels At Amazing Speed

Time: 2:00 p.m.
While travelling easterly on D117 in the Maury Valley near Perpignan, France, a perfect triangle craft crossed my sight at unbelievable speed north to south. It was probably not above 3000 feet AGL and zipped just above avoiding the mountain, summit to summit the valley is 2 miles wide. The occurrence lasted half a second, it was not humanly possible to sustain such maneuver. The approximate speed over 10000 miles an hour, noiseless and no sonic bang heard.

Surrey/Delta Border, British Columbia - Round Object Looked Like A Spinning Top

Driving down Scott Road and thought it was a plane at first in the distance, but as it approached and the angle that it turned at I knew a commercial plane would not do that especially at such a low level in the sky. I turned down the next street I came to, after the UFO turned to see if I could get a better angle and view, but it was so far away by then. We regularly have planes flying over our home because of where we are located in proximately to the airport. This however looked like a spinning top one of the old fashioned ones you may have played with as a child. The big metal ones. It was silver-ish in color and sort of different levels going in on the top and bottom with the middle being the biggest width round.

Parkland Region, Manitoba - Witness Pursued By A Disc/Saucer Shaped UFO

It had been a rainy weekend off and on. I had just wrapped up helping my friend work on his home for the day. The sun was setting as I went in to the trailer for a quick supper before heading back to the lake, for a nights sleep. I ate and had a quick visit and left at 9:30 pm. I had to stop and open up the gate on the property. I then drove through and shut the gate..As I got back into the truck and shut the door. I had a strange feeling come over me. I turned the heater onto high as I suddenly felt very cold. I shifted the truck into gear and started heading north. The gravel road was a winding one that had the trees and bushes that were slowly creeping in, taking it over. It was wilderness around the area and no human eyes for miles. Yet as I was driving..not 15 seconds into the 6 mile trip, I had a feeling..that I was being watched. It made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable.
The feeling was out of the blue! There was nothing that should make me even think of any eyes on me except for the wild life that live there, in the Parkland region. I could not shake the feeling as I drove along..every hill and curve, I expecting anything ..but nothing. I thought to myself, "boy, am I ever being funny tonight" as I still couldn't get rid of the feeling of being watched. I was going as fast as I could. My speed very limited as the curves and hills kept me from the true speed I wanted. All I wanted was to get back to the lake and in the cabin to a fire and sleep. I finally made it to a more "recognized" and used gravel road and turned onto it, now heading west.
It was immediate. There was a bright white light behind me. I saw it in my mirror. It was well above the ground. My first thought was a light on a post. It was not though, there was no light pole anywhere. I was startled and my heart quickly sped up. I had a feeling inside that I knew it was them. I stepped on the gas peddle and accelerated. The light stayed with me and then quickly got closer. I went over a hill and hoped that it would not follow, but it continued to follow me. I did feel somewhat safe in a vehicle that was moving, but knew in the back of my mind that it really would not make one bit of difference.
The glowing object continued to follow at an approximate 50 yard distance. I could see it in my side mirror. My whole body becoming alive with adrenaline and that feeling of perception aware on guard. The craft continued on to the next mile, my heart racing and thoughts erupting as a fear had some grip. The object suddenly disappeared. I still felt the same and was not relieved, but very much on edge now. Wondering where it went, I was sure it was not gone. I traveled for about ten seconds since the object had vanished. Then suddenly there it was, to the left of me. It lit it up bright. The white object was traveling beside me. It was not to far away, maybe 40 yards. It lit up, then after one to one and half seconds it went out. It was about 4 or 5 seconds later when the object lit up all white light again. The object appeared to be..an almost stubby looking disc saucer type craft. At least that was the shape of this white lit object. I really do not know if that was the actual object. I am assuming it was, as it was fairly big and not something that could be mistaken for anything else.
The whole place was so dark, so black and every 4 to 5 seconds this object kept on lighting up for one to one and half seconds. It stayed beside me for the rest of my trip west. It was just above the trees and keeping pace. I was a mile from home at the lake and turned north. The object discontinued. It flashed one more then that was all. I still wanted to get inside the cabin and it was not until 5 minutes after seeing the last flash, that I made it inside. I really don't think that it is something that can be just tossed aside, but I really was not one for thinking more on it. The feeling of being watched was gone as I sat on the couch beside the wood stove and watched it turn red. Exhausted from the work and the adrenaline wearing off. My mind now finally clear, I slept.

Mobile, Alabama - Oblong Light

Time: 9:30 p.m.
An oblong light pulsed 3 times. The light was about 100 to 200 feet over the Mobile bay bridge. My wife and I driving east on the east side of the bridge saw the light for about one second and passed under the light. No idea what it was. But we both agreed we had not ever seen anything like that.

Downtown Toronto, Ontario A Glowing Orb

Time: 9:00 p.m.
I went outside to have a cigarette on my balcony and while looking up at the sky I noticed a rather bright large star - until I realized it was too big to be a star. Then amazingly, it started to glow off and on like someone was using a dimmer switch on a light bulb to slowly increase or decrease the amount of light it gave off. When it was at its brightest it was white with an orange hue around the edges (and there were no strobe light flashes). After about 20 seconds of watching it increase and decrease in brightness it went dim for the last time and then went out completely.

Taos, New Mexico - 12 Unknown Objects

At first a white light like a star and traveling up sideways and fast moving. Shortly afterwards saw several more. Bright white and turned red. Also saw several others blue and others almost in formation of a triangle. We took pictures with our camera. We stayed for almost 2 hours. It was incredible We notice when we zoomed in it was almost pulsing and we also heard a whirling sound.

Vernon, British Columbia - A Hovering Ivory Colored Sphere

A co-worker and I, while in the parking lot at work today (Sept 11th, 2008 1pm-ish), saw a hovering ivory colored sphere. Its hard to tell how high or large it was, but it just sat there, and every once and a while it would shift slightly. At first it looked to be at least the size of a basketball, or bigger. But it was a beautiful blue clear sky, and there was no clouds to gage its size by. We stood watching it slowly ascend for a good 20 to 30 minutes before it became too small to see. A couple other people saw it as well after it had risen quite a bit and looked like a big daylight star before it vanished strait up. It was an amazing sighting. I don't know how else to describe it. Vernon, British Columbia - Strange Object Filmed (Pictures)

Time: Around noon time
I was walking my dog, Sept 12th, 2008 - around noon hour, and as always had my camera on me and snapped a picture of an object in the sky. I tried to get a good look at it, but couldn't tell what it was. It moved very slowly, and seemed to fade in and out. It appeared to be a very large boomerang at cloud level, but very faint to the eye; same colour as the cloud, except the front end which appeared darker. I snapped a few pictures, but it only showed up in one picture. I have attached the picture, and enlargements. Maybe you will know what it is.
