Pitt Meadows is a city in southwestern British Columbia, Canada and a member municipality in Metro Vancouver. We received the following account of tall glowing beings in 2013, but events described occurred in Summer 2009.
The witness writes:
"I was fishing the Katzie marsh, Pitt meadows B.C (lower mainland), and my girlfriend at the time was also with me. It was a full moon night and fishing was good but we left at about midnight. It was mid summer. I was rowing back to the launch ( about a twenty to thirty minute row through marsh land and canals) when she seemed distressed and started crying and was pointing north maybe a couple hundred yards. As i looked over the reeds i saw two glowing white figures about as tall as a telephone poll, just standing there. Being the only one in the area I also was scared and got low to the bank and rowed back scared out of my mind. Thinking about it now I wish i took photos but at the time that didn't even come to mind. This was in 2009 maybe August or July. The following weekend we went to Ucluelet on Vancouver island to go ocean fishing at our friends who have a resort there. After a day of fishing we were sitting down in the evening and having some beers and talking. I told them of my experience and immediately they told me that their friends who live in the area where i had the sighting also had seen the same thing. It was white tall like a telephone poll and came out of the forest and crossed the road to vanish on the other side. This was on the same road as the Katzie marsh, right by Pitt Lake. Now i thought we were not crazy and really did see these beings. I would really love to know if other people have had similar experiences here in BC and more specifically in the Pitt valley. "
