New Brunswick

The Parker House Inn located in Saint John, New Brunswick is rumoured to be haunted by the lady who the house was originally built for as a wedding gift. According to one claim she makes herself known by setting a spinning wheel into motion. We currently have no recent reports on this location, and would be interested in receiving ant information on a possible continuing or past haunting at this Inn.

In March 2010 we received the following report from one of our readers who has visited the Inn.

"My co-worker and I were hosting an educational event for a group of about 20 at the Parker House Inn.  During the presentation my co-worker (who professed before hand that he didn't like to think about paranormal things as it 'freaked' him out) and I were standing at the back of the main room about 20 feet away from each other when I saw him jerk around and look behind him and then look over at me with a disturbed look. He later told me that he could hear someone whispering in his ear from right beside him, when he turned around he thought he saw a figure on the stairs (which were directly behind him but out of my line of site) out of the corner of his eye. He even accused me of playing tricks on him, which I obviously was not.

Before the dinner and at my request, the owner told us about some of the recent unexplained events at the Inn. One event involved the sighting of a woman in period dress standing on the stairs."
