British Columbia

We received the following account of a spectral cowboy in March 2010:

"The experience was what I believe to be a ghost. I was camping alone at Paska Lake in the interior of B.C. I have been to this lake many times before, but never by myself. There was only one other party that was camping and they were on the other side of the camp-site, so I was pretty much the all alone.

Next to my camp site there was a very old bunk house and corral, I believe a resting point for when cattle and cowboys where driven though back in the day.

Sometime after I had gone to bed in my camper, I was awakened, although I'm not sure why, as there was no sound that I remember. I had opened my eyes and in front of me was this energy, light and within this was what I can only describe as a cowboy.

Now there was no lights on in my camper and no light outside, it was pitch dark. I had let out a gasp and the energy, cowboy was gone. After collecting myself and turning on a light I saw the camper door was open."
