Calgary's Suitor House dates back to 1907, and is another great example of turn of the 20th century architecture that has been preserved. The house originally belonged to a city alderman by the name of Robert Suitor (hence the name of the house)  Apparently as the story goes the house has seen tragedy, particularly when a railroad employee who lived in the house was killed accidentally. His wife mourned his death terribly, and died herself shortly afterwards.

It could be the widow who still haunts this location? Witnesses have reported seeing the apparition of a woman in a long white dress and long black hair. Electrical disturbances are also associated with this haunting.
