PSICAN Media Contacts Information and FAQ

We are always pleased when people wish to ask our help for media interviews or assistance and will always do our best to accommodate any request.

Please note, however that our group does view itself as an educational group and really do not see ourselves as professional or amateur "entertainers" and we will never hoax, lie, or otherwise knowingly be a party to any fictional or false dramatic works with or for anyone regardless of the situation.

To this end, if you're interested in speaking to us, please e-mail us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will respond within 72 business hours of receipt of your e-mail. (Please allow for 4 business days in October.)

PLEASE NOTE:

Halloween is always a busy time for us, but we will still try to help you with any project we can. This said, the earlier you speak to us, the better.

Student projects and help are very important to us, we will do our best to work with you, but please understand that projects from students tend to come in "bunches" (all at around the same time,) and as we're all volunteers, it can be difficult to fill all requests. We will do our best, but please be patient.

Please remember that we are a volunteer non-profit organisation and do not have (as yet) any permanent facilities to meet at. Organisation of meetings or interviews will need to be discussed at locations suitable for all parties at agreed times for everyone.

Paranormal research "...is beset by True Believers ('They must be, therefore they are!') and True Unbelievers ('They can't be, therefore they aren't!') Rare are those who pursue evidence wherever it may lead, no matter how the results may square with their cherished hopes and dreams. Ironically, both the TBists and the TUists see themselves as champions of objective analysis and critical thinking, when in fact they are defenders of their respective faiths and, not incidentally, their egos."
- Karl Pflock
